I enjoy creating both still life and landscape images, and in both cases, working with color is key for me. I love working with color relationships in an almost musical sense, creating harmonies and occasional dissonance with the interplay of tones. Many of my works also explore the possibilities of light and shadow, reflections and other natural visual phenomena.

I print my serigraphs by hand, using hand-cut stencils. I mix my inks with a large amount of transparent base, which gives the effect of well-controlled watercolors, allowing the visual "blending" of overlaid tones. Most of my serigraph editions are created using twelve to fifteen or sixteen separate stencils/ processes, each time adding a layer of color.
