Lynette Zeigler

This artwork reflects a direct, joyful engagement with the natural world. My point of view focuses on the details that often get lost in a passing glance - the intricate, spots on a yellow orchid, the dramatic flare of an iris petal, and the way the light filters through a dense canopy of leaves. By exaggerating the saturation and density of the flowers, the piece transitions from a simple botanical study into something resembling a dreamscape. It captures the feeling of being completely enveloped by nature, transforming an ordinary physical space into an extraordinary sensory experience. In the spirit of a legacy of looking and exploring, this painting serves as a portal into how I have perceived, processed, and interacted with my surroundings.
